What I offer

The 72 Project LLC offers one-on-one financial education sessions, including the three-part Signature Series, individual sessions, and the Smart Money Starter Kit.

Educational nature

My services are educational. Please read my disclaimer, which is part of these terms.

Who I work with

My sessions are designed for young adults, generally ages 18 to 30. On the occasion that a participant is under 18, such as a recent high school graduate, they may only take part with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Booking your sessions

Once the Series or a single session has been purchased, it is the participant’s responsibility to reach out and schedule the session times with me. This is true whether the participant paid or the Series was received as a gift. Sessions need longer blocks of time than my Discovery Calls, so we plan them together by phone. We can schedule the first session or all three at once, whichever you prefer. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible to have the most flexibility in the dates available.

Where we meet

Sessions are held in person when we can find a time and place that works for both of us. When that is not possible, we meet over Zoom. Both formats cover the same material.

Scheduling and cancellation

I ask for 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel a session. If I need to reschedule, we will find another time that works for you.

No-shows

If you miss a scheduled session without notice, that session is considered used. Things come up, so please reach out if something goes wrong and I will do what I can.

Completing the Series

You have 12 months from the date of purchase to complete all three sessions, and I will do my best to work around your schedule. If you are heading off to college and cannot finish before you leave, that is not a problem. As long as you have completed the first session, we can meet over a break or over Zoom, and I will extend your timeline as needed. If something else in your life makes the 12 months difficult, please tell me and I will do what I can.

Payment

The three-part Signature Series is $350. Individual sessions are $150, credited toward the Series if you upgrade. The 15-minute Discovery Call is free, with no obligation.

Refunds

If you change your mind within 30 days of purchase and before the first session, I refund your payment in full.

If you complete the first session and decide not to continue, for any reason, I refund $150. The first session and your Smart Money Starter Kit are yours to keep.

Once two sessions have been completed, the Series is non-refundable.

Sessions that are simply never scheduled are not refundable. If the Series was purchased as a gift and the recipient does not use it, the remaining sessions may be transferred to another young adult, as described under Gift purchases.

If you are not satisfied at any point, please tell me and I will do what I can to make it right.

Gift purchases

When you purchase the Series as a gift, the recipient may schedule their sessions within 12 months of purchase. If the recipient is unable to complete the Series, the remaining sessions may be transferred to another young adult, such as a sibling or friend, within the original 12 months. Please reach out and we will arrange it.

Materials

The Smart Money Starter Kit, session guides, and slides are the property of The 72 Project LLC. They are yours to keep and use personally. Please do not copy, resell, or redistribute them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent version.
